It’s that time of year again when ‘the most famous house in Britain’ on channel 5 opens its doors for the least famous celebrities in showbusiness. This year, big brother has thrown in a twist where half the housemates are new, as usual, and half the housemates are past housemates. The housemates are separated into two teams – the all-stars and the new-stars. So, which z–listers are set to be on our screens for the next three weeks you ask, here’s the line-up in full:
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt (All stars) – The controversial couple, famous for American reality TV show The Hills, came runners up to Rylan Clark-Neal in 2013, after many clashes with the now host of the after show, Bit on the side. Can’t wait for the exit interview!
James Jordan (All stars) – The outspoken former strictly pro is back for a second series after finishing third in 2014. Branded the series villain, Jordan left to a crowd of boos. Let’s see if he’s back to show us a different side to him or just to wind people up again.
Jasmine Waltz (All stars) – Model and American bad-girl Jasmine stirred the house up in 2014 when she became part of a love triangle with Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor. Is she back for romance again or just to win back the public’s hearts?
Ray J (New stars) – Best known for ‘that’ sex tape that made Kim K famous, it seems that there is more to Ray J than being known as Kim Kardashian’s ex. Being a rapper himself he comes from a family of musicians, with his sister Brandy and cousin Snoop Dogg.
Bianca Gascoigne (New stars) – Famous for being Gazza’s former step-daughter and winning love island with then flame Calum Best, Bianca is no stranger to reality television. Having appeared on Gladiators, Celebrity Coach Trip, Come Dine with Me and The X Factor, it looks like CBB is just another reality show ticked off the list for her!
Austin Armacost (All stars) – Coming from 2015’s CBB the model is back after winning Attitude’s TV moment of the year award with series bestie James Hill, but will he bring the same level as entertainment, this year without the 2015 winner in tow?
Coleen Nolan (All stars) – The ‘loose woman’ came second in 2012 – the year she shared the house with ex-corrie star Julie Goodyear. Many times, Coleen found herself the victim of Goodyear’s vicious tongue. Hopefully she’ll have a less catty experience this year.
James Cosmo (New stars) – Game of Thrones actor, Cosmo, is known for playing Jeor Mormont in the popular series. Also, playing parts such as Mark Renton’s father in Trainspotting and Campbell in Braveheart, James will have no part to play other than his very own personality in the house this year.
Stacy Francis (New Stars) – Best known for being a contestant on The X Factor USA and the famous fight with Whitney Houston, Stacy Francis will live alongside fellow housemate Ray J who was rumoured to be the cause of the argument.
Brandon Block (New stars) – 90s Ibiza DJ Brandon Block – remembered for stumbling on stage to collect an award he didn’t win and arguing with Ronnie Wood at the Brits in 2000. Although that was good entertainment, will Block himself be this series?
Nicola Mclean (All stars) – Page 3 model and love-rat footballer Tom Williams’s wife Nicola famously flirted with Frankie Cocozza in the 2012 series of CBB. The WAG previously claimed Celebrity Big Brother was the ‘worst experience of her life’…all the more reason to go back.
Jamie O’Hara (New stars) – Current footballer Jamie has admitted that he’s purely in it for the cash to pay off ex-wife Danielle Lloyd, after their divorce settlement states he must pay her £15,000 a month…Ouch!
Calum Best (All stars) – Calum Best, yes, ex-boyfriend to Bianca Gascoigne (also house mate this year, you are reading right) is this year’s thirteenth housemate. Could these two be this year’s house romance? It’s this question we’re all thinking.
Angie Best (New stars) – Calum Best’s mam! So, that rekindled romance we were just talking about between Calum and Bianca, just got a whole lot weirder. Yes, Calum’s mother will be there to watch all his antics, not really what you want when you’re a 35 year old single lad on a reality TV show – no matter how close the pair are.
